“To be on top in any sport, eating right is essential” But with 8 months on the run a year, visiting more than 20 different airports makes it hard for me to have a perfect setup like at home, where preparing a meal or something to bring with me for my training is easy. When I go to places I carry 200 kg. of windsurfing equipment with me all over the world and there is no room for a kitchen machine as well. Most airports and airlines offer low quality food for any athlete, so for me to be able to choose from a different selection from Organic food bar to bring with me all over the world makes life, not only easier, but more healthy and most important, making sure I never go “down” and feel fatigue before arriving to my next competition. If my blood sugar goes down, so does my motivation and focus and that’s not good! During competition I have a hard time eating the right amount. I am always too excited to eat and I am struggling to make sure I get the right intake. With many different bars, with each their purpose and taste I always have what I need. In between training and competition I eat the Active Greens Chocolate. On the run (traveling) and restitution I eat the Protein and Omega 3 Flax, making sure my body gets the right nutrition… Simply couldn’t be without them now! -- |
